It all started in 1950 when Jean Garnier bought 6 hectares of vines in the communes of Saint Michel de Fronsac and Fronsac. In 1979, the farm was leased for 18 years. In January 1998, his grandson Jean-Yves Millaire took over the family business. Today, joined by his wife, they operate 17 hectares divided into three different appellations: AOC Canon Fronsac – AOC – Fronsac – AOC Bordeaux.

The Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac appellations are located on the right bank of the Dordogne at the confluence of two rivers (Dordogne and Isle). This feature protects the vineyard and provides it with a privileged climate. The relief is very varied with many hillsides and clay- limestone soils resulting from the erosion of the source rocks guaranteeing a great terroir.

Their philosophy: "our work as winegrowers, focused on quality and respect for our Earth, has naturally led us towards organic farming and biodynamics. Indeed, thanks to cultivation techniques aimed at not using any herbicides, fungicides, insecticides or other synthetic pesticides, we present natural wines which are the pure expression of their terroir. We favor tillage, grass cover, leaf stripping and above all a very meticulous follow-up of each plot because, in the cultivation organic, everything is based on anticipation and prevention. Vinification is done in a natural way, without artifice, thanks to the know-how of the winegrower. The symbiosis rediscovered between man and his vine will allow our wines to express all their quintessence."

Loupiot means "little wolf" and affectionately "little child". It is indeed the last-born of the estate's wines. It is an early wine on the fresh fruit and the ardor of youth, ideal to have fun in the
moment.

Degustation: the color is dark purple, barely translucent. The nose is expressive, very "yogurt with black fruits", with a hint of spice. The palate is round, fresh and fruity, with a luscious substance, with a fine rascal grip. The finish has a gourmet chewiness, with a return of yogurt to fruit, but also of the rascal grip which amplifies, pulling you a face of pleasure. The whole thing ends on chalky/spicy notes.
