The history of the Capmartin estate began in 1986 with 1.5ha of vines for rent. First harvest in 1987. From conventional viticulture at the beginning, then reasoned and finally without synthetic products from 2000, the official conversion to certified organic farming began in 2010.
Terroir: Rolled pebble and red clay soils on plots facing north and east. This wine comes from grapes selected from the best plots in the Gers.
Cultivation methods: establishment of plant cover allowing soil decompaction and nutritional intake, alternated by natural grassing. Mowing is done in inter-stock.

Vinification: Destemming – Semi-carbonic fermentation Sulfur-free pressing – Aging 6 months in stainless steel vats on the lees.
Tasting: the color is translucent dark ruby. The nose is expressive, on very ripe red fruits, spices, and a slight milky touch. The palate is round, full, airy, deploying a finely velvety substance with fresh and delicious fruit, underlined by a slight pearling, not necessarily disturbing. The finish prolongs the mouth without the slightest jerk, merely adding a fine, fresh and fruity chewiness that is most addictive.
